Serenity Senior Living Pet Sanctuary provides a safe haven for unwanted senior cats and dogs to live out their days humanely. Our Seniors Helping Youth Program is a combined passion for senior pets and years of working with troubled youth. The culmination of these passions will support the humane treatment of unwanted senior pets, while teaching respect for life through understanding, empathy and sympathy. Our focus will be on youth involved with probation, parole and release from residential facilities. We will offer visitation with our pets to facilities, facility permitting.
A future programming goal will be to have youth on probation, parole and aftercare perform their community service work at the sanctuary, once we obtain property.
