Look at this beautiful girl! Her name is Kitzi. She came to us last week after her momma passed away unexpectedly.
Kitzi’s mom has been a special friend of Stephanie and the sanctuary. Penny was a bright light in this sometimes dark world. She had a passion for animals and was truly a dog and cat whisperer. Penny volunteered a few times at the sanctuary as well as the Hamilton County Humane Society. She was sweet, kind and gentle. Animals automatically responded to her because they could sense her kindness and they knew they were safe with her.
We didn’t hesitate when the family called and asked if we could help them with Kitzi. She is scared, shy, but very sweet. We know she’s missing her mom. Kitzi did allow Stephanie to put her on her lap and hold her for a while. Welcome to our big family, Kitzi! We promise to love and take great care of you.
