Luna Rose

Luna Rose

We picked up Luna Rose from our friends and Wabash County Animal Shelter on 11/6/24.

Luna is doing great so far! She’s eating well and using her litter box in her cage. We have her in a cage in our ISO room just for a few days for her to get acclimated to us and us to her. We need to know that she’s eating, drinking, using the litter box, taking her meds, etc. Most of our other cats come in/out of the room so they can see her and she can see them. This helps everyone acclimate to our colony free roam type environment when we get new cats.

Luna is very sweet and loving attention. We did let her come out for about 40 minutes to wander around and explore all of our cat rooms. She did well! There was some hissing and growling but nothing out of the ordinary. We put her back in her cage before she got too stressed. Luna is going to do great and we promise to take great care of her!

Update 2025.01.07: Our year started off fantastic! Smoochie (from Johnson County Animal Shelter) and Luna Rose (from Wabash County Animal Shelter, Inc. Wabash, Indiana) both got adopted on 1/7. And the best part….they went together to their new home!!! Our hearts are so happy for our sweet girls. Thank you Miss Donna for giving our girls a brand new perfect life!!!
